Smut for Chocoholics - Review

Well at the moment all my posts seem to be focused around chocolate. Not that that is a bad thing of course, but even I have some limits. So! I promise (with my fingers crossed behind my back) that this is the last chocolate themed post this week.

I wanted to share with you all the review that was posted up a few days ago on Amazon about Smut for Chocoholics

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00BQ2IUKS

I know from experience how long writing a review for an anthology can take especially if you want to give every story it's say. So I am so honoured to be mentioned in the review left by M.C. Gooding or 'Charliecookie'. They have gone through the entire book and commented on every story. I won't post the entire review here just the bit that mentions The Chocolatier - which was the story I wrote for this anthology.

You can find the rest of the review here (and please do take the time to read it all): http://www.amazon.co.uk/review/RPUEWWAQ4U4PO

The Chocolatier by Nicole Gestalt

Rachel wants some photo's of her chocolates done for a calendar. Photographer Robert decides the calendar needs some human presence. Thus creating a messy erotic photo shoot. M/F pairing

This was hot and steamy. A nice little read. I give this story 4 stars.

Thank you so much M.C.Gooding (Charliecookie) for taking the time to read and then review the entire book - it really means so much to us authors and editors and of course the publisher involved!

Now to focus on other things equally delicious but less chocolatey!

Bathed in Chocolate goodness!

Well okay so not quite bathed however I have just recently received an acceptance for my story The Competition. It will be published in More Smut for Chocoholics published by House of Erotica.

I apparently seem to be developing a series of chocolate related stories my last one The Chocolatier was in Smut for Chocoholics.

So without further ado let me show you the cover for More Smut for Chocoholics!

http://smutters.co.uk/anthologies/more-smut-for-chocoholics

There is just something wonderfully decadent about chocolate and the colour purple that makes this series so delicious!

I loved writing The Competition it's completely taps into my desire to one day design and create chocolates and I hope everyone enjoys it.

Since this is an anthology there is obviously lots of authors involved and I'm happy to say I'll be sharing these pages with the following authors:

Tilly Hunter
Victoria Blisse
Aurelia T Evans
Lucy Felthouse
Ruby Madsen
Jacqueline Brocker

And they arrived!

As I posted yesterday both Smut Alfresco and Smut for Chocoholics are now in print. This morning I woke up to the knocking of the postman who turned up to deliver them both!

No matter how many times it happens actually having a book in your hands that you contributed to is one of the best feelings in the world and for me it always feels a bit like christmas!

My story in Smut Alfresco is When the Rains Come which I am very proud of, it's a story I had planned out many years ago but only finished it when Smut Alfresco submission call was announced.

In Smut for Chocoholics (I just love the colour - purple is one of my favourite colours however so that may explain it a little!)  my story is The Chocolatier, which I knew I just had to write when thinking about molten chocolate and complete indulgence.

Now onto other news

In the next few weeks my latest all female anthology will be out and once it is out I'll be running a competition in which you can win any one of my ebooks or even a print copy of any of the books I'm part of that are in print.

So watch this space!

In Print!

It's always exciting when books move from the electronic to paper format. Recently two of the anthologies I'm in have made that leap!

I will be posting a photograph of the books once I receive them but in the meantime here are the links where you can get them from!

The books are £6.99 to get in print which is a bargain and they are packed full of great stories. Anthologies are a great way of finding new authors to love and read little tasty bites of already loved authors.

So take a chance a pick up a copy today!

The first has in it my story When The Rains Come. It has some really interesting stories in it and I'm happy and proud to be a part of it. So here is the brand new cover!

The second new cover is for an anthology that is all about one of my favourite kinds of food - chocolate. My story is called The Chocolatier. It has some really yummy stories in it and there is plenty of chocolate within!

Workspace Wednesday - Lucy Felthouse

Well these Wednesdays sure do come round quick. I've spent majority of the week hiding in the house away from all the snow that has been falling. Luckily we've not lost power like some places and we have a lovely gas fire by which to snuggle.

This week I've got an author whom I currently share two anthologies in common with (Smut Alfresco and Smut for Chocoholics) and whose work I have admired for a long time. So without further ado let me introduce Lucy Felthouse to talk about her workspace!

My Workspace by Lucy Felthouse

I admit that, at the moment, my workspace is long overdue a tidy up. I’m so busy that I just jump from one project to the next and don’t have much time for tidying up, or cleaning. But a big clean is on my list for the very near future.

So, a brief description. I work in the spare room in our house, which was converted to an office several years ago. It’s pretty small, but there’s only me so it doesn’t really matter. I have my beloved laptop, of course, lots of pens, my iPhone dock so I can play music, drinks, tissues (bloody hayfever!), magazine racks, my pinboard and much, much more. Eagle-eyed folk will have noticed the eye candy photos on the pinboard and wall, with Jeremy Renner in a starring role *drools.* I also have my Lord of the Rings film cells and meerkats, with Alexander in a starring role. Hehe. To my left and right is more stuff, like racks holding printer paper and stuff, pen pots, my to-do lists, my Kindle, the window. Behind me is my bookshelf which is full to bursting.

The thing I love most: I love the fact that it is just my room. I don’t share it with anyone, nobody interferes, nobody moves stuff around, and, except when the neighbours are being noisy, it’s pretty quiet. My pipe dream is to have my own house and an office with a view, but for now, this little room serves its purpose and I do what needs to be done!

Workspace Wednesday - Wendi Zwaduk

Wow weeks go very quickly these days I feel sometimes as if I can't blink because if I do I'll lose a day! Anyway this is the second Workspace Wednesday and I am very happy to have Wendi Zwaduk joining me for it.

Wendi Zwaduk is one of the authors who I share two anthologies with - Smut Alfresco and Smut for Chocoholics so I am very excited to have her here talking about the spot where all the magic takes place!

Work Space Rules!
Thanks to Nicole for having me on the blog. I love to talk about my work space, even if it’s not traditional. I tend to write wherever I can find a space to work, but the place I love the most is in front of the television. No, not because I need to procrastinate, but I’m good at it. I do it for the noise. I’ve always been one of those souls who needs noise to write. So I sit on the floor in front of the couch—not sure why other than I like sitting on the floor—with the coffee table pulled back enough for me to prop my elbows on it and voila! I’m working away.
My favorite thing about my work space is the movie I’m watching—er, listening to. I featured my favorite Beatles movie, Help! on the table. That’s my coffee table. Not terribly haute couture with no coffee table books or fancy coaster. Nope. Just my laptop, notebooks and the DVD case.
I know my work space isn’t the most traditional, fancy office like some have. That’s okay. I’d probably end up goofing off at a regular desk.
* * * *
Like spicy romance? So do I! Come along on this journey with me.
I’ve always dreamt of writing the stories in my head. Tall, dark, and handsome heroes are my favorites, as long as he has an independent woman keeping him in line.  I love playing with words and letting the characters run wild.
NASCAR, Ohio farmland, dirt racing, animals and second chance romance  all feature prominently in my books.  I also write under the pen name of Megan Slayer. I’m published with Total-E-Bound, Changeling Press, Liquid Silver Books, Turquoise Morning Press, Decadent Publishing and The Wild Rose Press. Come join me for this fantastic journey!
If you like my work, tell your friends and email me. I love hearing from readers!

Thanks so much for Wendi popping by and telling us all about her workspace I have to say as a writer I am a little voyeuristic so finding out where other people write is really interesting!

First Acceptance of February

The first thing I do when I get up in the morning sometimes even before I have had a cup of tea is check my emails and get all important ones dealt with that way I am clear to focus on drinking that tea when I finally do make it!

Well this morning along with various other emails was the great news that one of my stories has been accepted into a anthology that is very close to my heart. The story is called The Chocolatier and will be published in Smut for Chocoholics edited by Kev Mitnik.

Now everyone who knows me will not be surprised I'm happy about this acceptance...I am very much a self confessed chocoholic so it is the perfect anthology for me!

It will be published by the House of Erotica  and when I get a copy of the cover I'll put it up for people to see!

Will let you all know further information when I get it
