Bathed in Chocolate goodness!

Well okay so not quite bathed however I have just recently received an acceptance for my story The Competition. It will be published in More Smut for Chocoholics published by House of Erotica.

I apparently seem to be developing a series of chocolate related stories my last one The Chocolatier was in Smut for Chocoholics.

So without further ado let me show you the cover for More Smut for Chocoholics!

There is just something wonderfully decadent about chocolate and the colour purple that makes this series so delicious!

I loved writing The Competition it's completely taps into my desire to one day design and create chocolates and I hope everyone enjoys it.

Since this is an anthology there is obviously lots of authors involved and I'm happy to say I'll be sharing these pages with the following authors:

Tilly Hunter

Aurelia T Evans
Lucy Felthouse
Ruby Madsen
Jacqueline Brocker
James McArthur
Vanessa de Sade
Wendi Zwaduk
Jillian Boyd
Nicole Gestalt
Slave Nano
Annabeth Leong
Anna Sky

Acceptance

Well this morning I got good news regarding a short story I submitted a while ago. It has been accepted but what its about and what it's been accepted in I can't yet say (but as soon as I can I will so watch this space!).

Hopefully this month will bring more good news as I have a lot of stories in various anthologies right now. As soon as I can give information on any of them I will do!

In other news I finished the short story I was working on yesterday and even got started on some proposals which I'm very pleased about. Now today's goal is to get to the 3000 mark on another short story and work on one more proposal.

Since I've been setting small daily goals for myself I've found that I've been able to focus on my writing - will I continue doing this? I'm not sure but we shall have to wait and see.

In the meantime don't forget to check out my icy winter story Cold Fire

Excerpt:

The trail ahead was dark. Now that she was in the forest, she could no longer see the ground in front of her. Stumbling, she fell, her foot catching on a tree root. Crying out in pain, Alice forced herself to get back up and continue to run. In the distance dogs barked, and she could hear the sounds of her pursuers breaking through the undergrowth.
Straining to breathe, Alice ran on, stumbling at almost every step. Moving through the forest was hard going, every movement causing sharp pains to shoot through her bare feet. Sweat dripped into her eyes, making them sting and her vision blur. Wiping it away didn’t help, yet she kept on running.

Alice had no idea how much time had passed as she ran, nor in which direction she was headed. It was a moment before she noticed that the forest in front of her was beginning to thin and grow lighter. Running towards the area, she felt the earth underfoot quickly become wet and soft, then grow hard and bitterly cold. She began to lose all feeling in her feet as they pounded against soil that steadily became frozen the further she ran. The dogs sounded closer and she heard the men shouting. Turning, she caught a glimpse of their torches before her foot caught on an unseen obstacle, twisting underneath her. She hit the forest floor hard. Pain shot through her foot and up her leg, as she clawed at the remains of the fallen leaves, writhing in the cold. She rolled over to face the men as their shadowy forms moved through the trees towards her.

Well it looks like I've done it again.....

And not posted for an absolute age. I have a valid excuse however in that I've been working! So much so in all honesty I didn't realise quite how much time had passed between me writing the last blog and this one.

However during that time I've also been submitting stories and have just this week signed three contracts (although I can't quite let you in on who they are with just yet!) - so watch this space for more news.

Currently I've got two more short stories in the works and I've just started plotting a few nice ice cool ones (a nice contrast from the weather we've been having recently) so I will keep you posted on these  if (when!) I get them to completion.

I'm also pondering over more training and trying to decide what routes I want to focus on over the next year. I have magpie syndrome (I'm not sure it's a real syndrome but it acuratly explains my obsession of finding new shiny things and focusing on them for a while) so it's quite hard to stay focused on a limited number of things, but I am trying.

In other news my art exhibition is now done and has already been taken down (a month just flew by) so it's all eyes on the October one. (It really never stops here)

Next week I'll hopefully be able to give you more information on the contracted stories so watch this space.

First Acceptance of February

The first thing I do when I get up in the morning sometimes even before I have had a cup of tea is check my emails and get all important ones dealt with that way I am clear to focus on drinking that tea when I finally do make it!

Well this morning along with various other emails was the great news that one of my stories has been accepted into a anthology that is very close to my heart. The story is called The Chocolatier and will be published in Smut for Chocoholics edited by Kev Mitnik.

Now everyone who knows me will not be surprised I'm happy about this acceptance...I am very much a self confessed chocoholic so it is the perfect anthology for me!

It will be published by the House of Erotica  and when I get a copy of the cover I'll put it up for people to see!

Will let you all know further information when I get it

Acceptance!

Well I've just had the exciting news that my short story When the Rains Come has been accepted and will be in the upcoming Smut Alfresco anthology edited by the gorgeous pair Victoria Blisse and Lucy Felthouse.

My story is one I wrote a number of years ago now but it has always been one that has been close to my heart since it involves a few of my favorite things (I'm going to let you all read it and guess about what they might be!). I am very glad that it has finally found a home and am very much looking forward to working with all the other authors in this anthology!

When I get a cover I will put it up here so watch this space.

{Edited to add the gorgeous cover!}
