Well I'm a little bit late at putting this up but nevertheless it is still February so it's not over due!
For this month since it is the month of Valentines I have picked my free ebook that was released for Valentines a number of years ago. It is called Vision in Green and is a very hot short story about the first meeting of two women in a club.
It has been published by my publisher Phaze.
Here is a short excerpt from the start of the story:
Samantha wound her way around the nightclub, her fingers tapping with the rhythm of the music as she moved. The beat vibrated through her whole body, making her heart race and her feet want to dance.
As she walked she looked at the faces of the dancers lost in the moment, their bodies writhing close to one another, glistening with sweat. Samantha felt turned on just watching the scene in front of her, her hand unconsciously running over the fabric that covered her new toy.
She wondered if any of them could tell that tonight she was packing. She was nervous but excited; she could feel it pushed up hard against her leg as it tried to break free of her trouser fabric.
She had admired the way it
This was a fun little story to write and one of my favourites. If you would like to read it you can find it here:

Book of the Month - Summer of Fire
So that we can all warm up and forget the cold that is currently
holding us all in its grips I thought I would make Summer of Fire my
book of the month. Summer of Fire is my first e-book ever published, so it will always have a special place in my heart.
I wrote it for Phaze's submission call for their themed heat sheet. The theme was FORCE and so I focused on a quick hot and fiery story based around a policewoman and fire-fighter thrown together to try and solve a series of arson's plaguing the city.
This story pretty much wrote itself and before I knew it it was ready for submission, and then that special email that came through which made me squeal in excitement and have a grin on my face for about a week!
Anyway without further ado here is Summer of Fire
Summer of Fire
Available at: http://www.king-cart.com/Phaze/product=Summer+of+Fire+by+Nicole+Gestalt
The Summer of Fire, as the media calls it, brings steamy weather and the threat of an arsonist. Officer Helen is charged with ending the madness, yet her passion for a widowed firefighter continues to flame.
For this except we join the action at the very beginning of the story just as Helen gets very close and personal with the firefighter which will change her world.
EXCERPT
"Let me guess, another arson?" Helen looked at the building still burning furiously in front of her. Sweat threatened to drip down from her hat line. Her shirt was already drenched, and she was thankful her uniform covered it up somewhat. However, the heat Helen was feeling wasn't just from the fire, it was also due to the large, muscular fireman standing in front of her.
"…has the traits of it, but it's too early to tell." His voice washed over her, and she felt like she was falling into a warm bath of melted chocolate. Aware he was saying something else she smiled up at him and tried to concentrate on the words rather than his body. It didn't take her long to realise she wasn't going to be able to concentrate at all, even with him in his full fire-fighting gear his muscles bulged, filling out his uniform.
An explosion ripped through the building and Helen suddenly found herself flat on the floor with the fire-fighter of her dreams on top of her. Looking deep into his cool blue eyes she felt hotter then she
could ever remember being. His lips were so close to hers, she had but to lift her head up and they would meet. Just as she contemplated actually moving to kiss him, he moved.

Book of the Month - Cold Fire
Beware the Maiden-eater, my child, when the night is longest.
Through snow and ice he does creep,
Taking those who dare to sleep deep within his land.
Long in body and quick of mind he is,
Filled with powers to take you whilst you sleep and dream.
Beware the Maiden-eater, my child, when the night is longest.
Through snow and ice he does creep,
Taking those who dare to sleep deep within his land.
Long in body and quick of mind he is,
Filled with powers to take you whilst you sleep and dream.
Beware the Maiden-eater, my child, when the night is longest.
And so Cold Fire was born.
This is one of my favourite stories that I have written for two reasons. First I have a real penchant for fantasy stories - although to date this is my only fantasy story that has been released (though watch this space). Secondly I helped design part of the cover with the background actually being some of my own artwork.
And so here is the blurb for the book:
In his ice palace Kevalan spends his time visiting different planes bringing cold and ice at certain times of the year. On a brief visit to one he rescues a young woman. He carries her to his palace for her safety all the while worried about his feelings for her. He only has one night on this world is it enough to form a strong enough bond, and why does she look upon him so fearfully?
And now! A little excerpt to tease
“So, tell me, what am I called here?”
His question confused Alice.
“Here? You mean you don’t live here all the time?”
“Of course I don’t, I am needed in many different places. I am known as Jack Frost in some places, and on the jungle world of Ithary, I am known as the Coldbringer.”
“Well, here I guess we know you as Maiden-eater.”
“Ah yes, that was it. You know it’s actually my personal favourite, although, no doubt the reason you tell your young I’m called that is wrong too?”
“Well I don’t know, but I guess it must be. You don’t seem to be an evil person.”
He laughed once more. Throughout their conversation, Alice had found it hard to concentrate on the words, and instead found herself gazing at the body of the man across from her. He was a good head and shoulders taller than she was, and much broader than any of the men from her village. He had about him an air of royalty, and yet he wasn’t frail and small of stature like the Lord, but instead seemed so strong and full of life. She was attracted to him, his clothes tight enough to show his muscular build. As each toned muscle flexed under his clothes, Alice sighed, her mind a whirl of thoughts, many of them focused on wondering what he would look like naked. He didn’t seem anything like the figure mentioned in the stories, yet the reputation he had had to come from somewhere.

Book of the Month - Melting Point: Breaking the Mould
So thought I would try something a little new with the blog today, I have a number of ebooks out now and I am aware that not everyone may know the different books so from today onward I am going to feature a book a month of my backlist.
I know I'm writing this at almost the end of June so this will be the book of the month till almost the end of July.
This months book is Melting Point: Breaking the Mould published by Phaze and released in 2009 as part of their RAW series. This series focused on BDSM and having already written a short story based on a particular area of BDSM I took the oppertunity to write a follow up story but focusing on characters who only had a bit part in the original story.
And which aspect of BDSM did I pick? Wax Play
I did this for many reasons 1. I wanted to show that the world of BDSM doesn't just have to be about ropes and paddles (although there are some of that in the story as well) 2. Having discussed it with many people with regards to my characters it gave the main female protagonist a slightly different way to get into the BDSM scene. 3. The forementioned short story was about wax play and I got enough good feedback from it to make me want to write a longer story.
Melting Point: Breaking the Mould
The wax ran in slow rivulets down Ruby's stomach. She moaned, unable to restrain herself, the movement causing more of the wax to run down. Although her eyes were closed, she could sense Dalton. As he moved closer she waited, desperate to feel the hot wax poured on her again.
Her eyes opened to slits as the colourful wax splashed onto her belly. Droplets splattered her breasts, the wax cooling rapidly, pulling at the skin it covered. Another moan escaped Ruby's lips. Dalton smiled at her.
"You like that, my love?"
Ruby nodded, but she didn't need to. She knew he'd know the answer. They had been playing with wax together ever since he introduced it to her five years ago, and during that time she had enjoyed every single session. Each session was different, some times more intense than others. Tonight's session was to practice for an upcoming demonstration.
Ruby found the demonstrations to be an exciting mix of nerves and arousal. Knowing people were looking at you whilst you got to the peak of orgasm was a very liberating feeling, although it wasn't something she liked doing often. No matter how much Dalton told her she looked sexy, she still had body image issues. She knew she wasn't a stick thin figure, she had lumps and bumps in places she'd have preferred not to, but that was who she was and, as Dalton kept telling her, she looked as she did the night he first met her.
Dalton's smiling face came into view.
"I believe I will move further down with the wax now, my love, are you ready?" he asked, showing the same concern he always had. She nodded, looking forward to feeling the wax run down between her legs. He was using a slightly pigmented wax tonight, so it was warmer than the clear wax, but she was used to the increase in temperature. Ever since she met him, things had always followed the same mantra; Safe, sane and consensual. Nothing happened to her without her agreeing to it, and vice versa.
Laying, waiting for the new wax to be poured over her, she thought back to the first night they met.
