Win a copy of Summer of Fire or some cards made by me

Since it's the time of giving and sharing I thought I would run a little treasure hunt through my journal. If you would like to take part please email me the answers to the following questions:

1. In 2007 which month has the most posts?

2. When did I get my first acceptance this year?

3. What is it called?

4. When did it come out?

5. What was the characters name that I picked in the 'Name a Character' competition?

6. At the end of the first Seventy Days of Sweat how many approximate words had I written?

7. What charity anthology is my story Melting Point going to be in?

Please send the answers to: spanknicole@hotmail.co.uk with the heading TREASURE HUNT (please make sure you do this otherwise it will be eaten up as spam).

I will pick the winner out of the correct entries and then post the result up on here on the 1st January so you have until then to find all the answers.

The winner will be able to chose between a pack of handmade cards or a copy of my e-book Summer of Fire.

Good Luck and have fun!

Hint: Every answer can be found within this journal if you get stuck check out the themed posts down the side of the window.

Melting Point edits round one

Well the edits for Melting Point have now been sent back. Although at first glance there was an awful lot of red it didn't actually turn out to be that bad. I'm very excited about this story and am hoping if feedback is good to possibly do some follow up stories on the couple involved, and perhaps their friends - who knows.

I finally got back to writing last night after a stint of being too busy to even think about plot lines. Now all the Christmas fairs are over with I'm able to fully concentrate on the writing once more. I had been planning on writing a story that I have had down on my ideas pad for months now but when it came to it the words just wouldn't flow so clearly it still needs some more mulling over. Instead I have begun a shape-shifter story that encompasses a couple of genres, I'm not sure how it's going to go yet so I wont say any more but it's good to get back to writing!

Happy News

Yesterday I found out that a short story of mine entitled Melting point has been accepted for a Coming Together anthology. The Coming Together anthologies are the brain child of Alessia Brio with all proceeds going to designated charities. You can find more information here: Coming Together

My story will be in the anthology entitled Coming Together: Under Fire with all proceeds going to help victims of the California Wildfires. I am so happy to be a part of it and hope people will enjoy my story. It's a piece on wax play, and the characters have just leapt into my heart so watch out for more from them. The publication date is penned in at the moment for January when both the e-book and print format will be available.

Here is the line up:

Coming Together : Under Fire
Coming Together: Under Fire

Coming Together: Under Fire is a multi-author anthology of erotic fiction and poetry edited by the dynamic writing (and now editing) team of Alessia Brio and Will Belegon.

ALL proceeds from the sale of this volume will benefit relief efforts for the victims of the 2007 Southern California wildfires.
